Spring Series Results
Another
Spring Series is in the books. In this case, it was a short
one. An error on the calendar that was published actually omitted
the final Spring Series date, so to avoid confusion and keep it fair for
everybody, we just went with the dates we had published. For results, click HERE.
We
had some light air (this is Arkansas, after all) but some really nice days
as well. I got some great pictures of those who participated, but
haven't mastered adding albums to the website yet. When I do, you'll
be the first to know. In the mean time, name these sailors:

The
continuing highlight has been the après sail activities at the
Lammers'. As you all know, Bill & Christina have opened their
home up for parties every weekend that we have been racing. There
have been a bunch of new faces mixing with some very old ones to watch
some sailing videos, replay the events of the day, and EAT! I think
every close encounter on the course has been rehashed to the satisfaction
of all involved on the kitchen table with plenty of bystander
commentary. Thanks as always to the Lammers for the hospitality.
Frostbite
Series in the books
The
breeze didn't really provide the drama that is customary for the
Frostbite Series, but nine boats got some nice sailing in anyway.
The top 3 represent a real cross section of the types of boats in our
club. But conspicuously missing are the big guys. Where were
all the big Hunters and Beneteaus? Are you all waiting on it to warm up
so you can turn on the air conditioners? The best sailing of the
year is RIGHT NOW, so get out there and enjoy it. For the full
